Well, after approximately 3 years of use, I claim that these bulbs are inferior quality and do not meet their life expectancy spec. I have roughly 30 of these bulbs throughout our house. Not all are used to the same extent. Bathrooms perhaps 1 hour total a day max, dining room perhaps 5 hours a week, kitchen perhaps 6 hours a day, floor lamps perhaps 5 hours a day max and not all the same. You get my point; various hours. For these bulbs to have a rating of 25000 hours, over the 3 year period (3 yrs x 365 days = 1095 days) each bulb would've had to be on for 23 hours a day on average. Last year two floor lamps failed (flickering and finally reduced brightness). Earlier this year, a bathroom bulb failed; same issue. Not a lot of hours on these bulbs. I expect all the others will likely and eventually behave the same. Perhaps.
